Born & raised in Los Angeles, I grew up immersed in movies, art, and music. Visual storytelling of cinema in particular inspired my pursuit of photography.

After discovering photographers like Henri Cartier Bresson, Bruce Davidson, and Mary Ellen Mark, I fell in love with photojournalism and pursued a degree at San Francisco State University—covering protest, street life, and culture.

Now, living in New York for 12 years, I aim to capture the unconventional beauty, fashion, and essence of subcultures, while confronting questions of identity in an ever complex world.
